Our relationship with Japan has been characterized by long-standing contacts with this country so that we feel both for the people living in the region of Fukushima and for the nation as a whole.

However, a merely paralyzing sadness can never develop confidence. And this is exactly what we want to communicate, since actions speak louder than words. Therefore, we as a team of employees and executives have decided to make a donation of 6,000.00 euros, which is going to be used by the Association of German-Japanese Societies (Verband der Deutsch-Japanischen Gesellschaften, VDJG) for a practical reconstruction project.

VDJG have appealed for funds under the motto "A friend in need is a friend indeed". We consider ourselves as exactly such friends to a very familiar and highly-appreciated country. If you would also like to help, just do not hesitate and visit the VDJG website under: www.vdjg.de
